Applicants with the following qualifications may be considered for admission into the Higher National Diploma programs by direct entry:

1. National Diploma in Water Resources Engineering/Civil Engineering, Irrigation Engineering Agricultural Engineering & Bio-environmental Engineering Technology with a minimum of lower credit pass, and
2. A minimum of one year post-National Diploma cognate work experience in the field of engineering as stated above, obtained from a Polytechnic accredited by the National Board for Technical Education.
3. In addition, candidates must have satisfied the basic requirements for admission into the National Diploma program.
